So we relaunched it from the ground up: a modern TYPO3 site with a custom frontend, an intelligent Elasticsearch-powered search across 1,000+ jobs, and a consistent corporate design that strengthens KÖTTER's brand and employer image.

The Project
A new digital presence for a leading facility services provider
KÖTTER Group is one of Germany's leading facility services providers — innovative, high-performing, and owner-managed since 1934. To stay competitive in a demanding market, KÖTTER set out to modernise its digital strategy and infrastructure, starting with its website.
The old site held the brand back. Navigation was confusing, the design felt dated, and the layout was not responsive. It also emphasized individual topics rather than presenting all services equally — at odds with KÖTTER's customer-oriented 360-degree approach.
Together with KÖTTER, we relaunched the website to deliver a clearer, more engaging user experience and to strengthen trust in KÖTTER as a professional business partner.

Modern architecture
A modern TYPO3 CMS forms the technical foundation, paired with a custom-built frontend. The search runs as standalone Vue.js apps, independent of the CMS — so it survives major TYPO3 upgrades without rebuilding, keeping the solution future-proof.

AI-powered Search and Optimised Job Data through Elasticsearch
Moving all search and filter functions to an Elasticsearch solution has significantly improved loading times and considerably increased usability, especially for job search, event search, and page search. The job data is drawn from two different sources, merged into a single data object, and used both in the Elasticsearch search application and on the job detail pages. The Elasticsearch implementation is carried out with VueJS apps, so no updates are required for major TYPO3 versions.
