The project

Building RENNSTIL's digital foundation

Procar Automobile has been an established automotive company for decades (founded in 1989) and already operates several successful online shops. With RENNSTIL, however, a new premium brand was created, specializing in the refinement and performance optimization of BMW M models. Brand launches follow a different set of rules: positioning, shop experience, processes, and time-to-market all need to be right from the very beginning.

Without clear guardrails, typical launch risks were imminent: a delayed market entry, lack of digital visibility at launch, and inefficient coordination that can quickly slow a project down.

The main challenge wasn’t just the technology, but setting the right priorities: which features need to be ready from day one, and which can come later. The key was to avoid overload and focus on launching a clean, brand-aligned MVP—without compromising on the premium feel or user experience.

The goal

Together with Procar, we defined a setup that consistently delivers on three key aspects:

  • UX and design that bring the RENNSTIL brand identity to life

  • A scalable Shopify platform that cleanly supports growth, assortment expansion, and ongoing optimization

Our collaboration was built on a transparent and structured workflow, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for launching the new brand.

    We helped Procar define a clear strategy and user experience (UX) for presenting the RENNSTIL brand and its products online. This involved defining the right focus, preventing the client from trying to tackle too many issues at once, which was the single biggest risk we helped them avoid.

    We established regular status calls, a detailed project plan with clear milestones, and pre-launch questionnaires. Hands-on workshops were conducted to align on UX and functionality, ensuring the final product matched the vision for the new brand.

    We built the online store on Shopify, utilizing a standard theme with customizations to ensure flexibility and a scalable foundation for future growth. A key unique feature we developed was the ability for customers to request the installation of purchased parts at a physical shop, bridging their online and offline services.

    Post-launch in October 2025, we provided comprehensive Shopify backend training, empowering the Procar team to manage content, handle orders, and maintain their new digital channel independently.

Critically, it empowered the client to maintain the store independently, with SUNZINET acting as a strategic backup for future developments.

Future plans

We're also supporting them with newsletter campaigns to drive engagement with their new online platform.
