The Ministry of the Interior and Local Government of North Rhine-Westphalia is the supreme state authority for police matters in NRW. The Düsseldorf-based authority was founded in 1946.

SUNZINET was appointed for two digital projects at once: the new development of the intranet and a website relaunch.

The Challenge

For the Ministerium für Inneres und Kommunales NRW we were to develop both the intranet and the internet presence from scratch. For both we used TYPO3 as content management system. It offers full flexibility and allows the editors a simplified and flexible maintenance of the backend.

Our Approach & Solution

We have equipped the new intranet for the Ministerium für Inneres und Kommunales NRW with closed departments and numerous service functions. The internal platform is now the central working tool for the staff of the highest state authority for police affairs in North Rhine-Westphalia.
