Objective: Promotion of growth strategy through transnational website
- The key objective was to drive the international growth of SIMONSWERK. A TYPO3-based website was to be created at www.simonswerk.de that reflects the company's high quality products and international reputation. This also included the rollout in 12 countries.
- Particular attention was paid to optimally guiding customers through the extensive content on the SIMONSWERK website. Among other things, around 800 products, various services and downloads had to be prepared in such a way that users could filter and search them in a targeted manner – without any loss of performance.
Implementation & Result: International presence with outstanding user guidance
Our developers took care of the whole Web Development, including upgrade, configuration and further development of the TYPO3 CMS. In particular, they made numerous individual adjustments to the user interface.
Some highlights of the website include:

One of the highlights of the new website is its extensive product selector, which contains around 800 products per country. Thanks to clear-cut categories and selection options, users can discover the right product for them with just a few clicks, while the display of other items remains visible.
Different brands, products, drawings, finishes and combinations: Users can now view all of this, save it in a notepad or download all relevant information as a PDF. The product selector is available in various languages. -
We enhanced the search function with Elasticsearch: thanks to the extension, users can find what they are looking for quickly and precisely – almost in real time – despite the extensive product offering. In addition to its high performance, Elasticsearch offers functions, such as: faceted search and automatic completion of queries, which in turn, improve user-friendliness of the SIMONSWERK website.

We implemented a multi-language and multi-domain architecture based on TYPO3 to give SIMONSWERK an appealing presence across all its target markets. Users can conveniently choose between different countries in the menu. Displaying different language versions within one navigation panel emphasizes the international ambition of the company. At the same time, SIMONSWERK is able to easily adapt content to country-specific conditions and requirements.

Users simply select their country, type in their zip code and are immediately shown dealers in their area. They can choose between a list view and – thanks to Google Maps integration – a map view. In the detailed view, they can find information such as telephone number, website and e-mail. In this way, the function not only allows users to search for dealers quickly, but also to contact them easily.

Similarly to dealer search, users enter their zip code in the contact search to find the right contact person for them. Depending on the location, the contact form adapts dynamically, so that inquiries are sent directly to the correct email address. This facilitates lead capture and enables SIMONSWERK to respond quickly to customer concerns.
Benefit: 55% more website sessions and 47% more users since go-live
SIMONSWERK's new website has been online since 2024 and ensures a strong presence for the company across national borders:
- The integration of websites for 12 different countries increases SIMONSWERK's global reach and strengthens its international brand presence.
- The extended search functions and the integration of Elasticsearch improve user guidance and thus the overall user experience.
- The modern, clean design reflects the company's corporate identity and values.
The success of the project can also be measured:
- Since going live, website sessions have improved by around 55% and user numbers by around 47%.
