Barrier-free consulting platform
The Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) fulfills tasks throughout the Rhineland in the areas of care for the disabled and youth, psychiatry and culture. As such, it is committed to an inclusive society in all areas of life. SUNZINET is happy to support this - with the implementation of an information portal that will bundle the complex advisory services of the LVR in the course of the new Federal Participation Act and make them more easily accessible for people with impairments. Therefore, especially important: the complete barrier-free realization according to BITV NRW as well as the presentation of the offers in everyday language, easy language and sign language.
In order to optimally implement the special requirements for the platform, we opted for a sophisticated, customized technical solution - based, among other things, on First Spirit. At the heart of the digitization project is the user-friendly, barrier-free concept of the portal: a dialog-based advice guide that intuitively leads users with disabilities to the right advice service - taking into account their place of residence. Regular usability tests helped to understand the usage habits of the target groups and to optimally tailor the user experience to them.
- Implementation of the Online Accessibility Act (OZG) for services, service descriptions according to the FIM standard, XZuFi 2.2.0, LEIKA
- Accessibility BITV 2.1
- Integration of the LUCOM form as WebComponents
- Connection of the Servicekonto.NRW
- Geo-referencing with Open Street Map
- Interface programming for SAP for master data management
Linking of Servicekonto.NRW, LUCOM and LVR advice portal
The output of information on the advice centers and contact persons works via an SAP connection: as soon as the user enters the respective procedure number in the search, the appropriate contact person is immediately displayed as a search result.
In addition, the connection to the Servicekonto.NRW of the state will simplify the entire application process at the LVR in the future. It is now possible to complete applications and administrative procedures quickly and easily directly after registering and authenticating in Servicekonto.NRW.
In addition, an integration of LUCOM's form solution will follow in the LVR's advisory portal. In this way, forms can be filled out directly digitally and submitted in a standardized form. This saves the user a considerable amount of effort - because the annoying printing and handwritten filling out of forms will no longer be necessary! The authorities also benefit: they can process the documents more efficiently in this way.
Location identification made easy - with Open Street Map and geo-referencing
Long searches are a thing of the past! Within a few clicks, the user knows immediately where the nearest facility or the appropriate offer for his or her purposes is located. This is because the individual facilities and consulting services are displayed individually with the help of Open Street Map and geo-referencing. In addition, detailed information on the locations is listed according to the markings.
Good to know: The guidelines of the Online Access Act stipulate that administrative services in Germany must be offered online and findable via administrative portals from 2023. Of course, this also affects the LVR with its counseling portal: The LVR must not only digitally map the individual counseling services, but also make them available digitally nationwide - regardless of the user's location.
We are all the more pleased with the result, which once again demonstrates our strengths: using a requirements analysis to find out exactly what our customers need and implementing these needs in a targeted manner. In this case, we succeeded in developing a barrier-free service portal for the LVR that leaves no one out: Here, every single citizen in NRW is given easy access to all of the LVR's advisory services. In this way, it supports people in challenging situations - and makes society a little bit more equal.
