Untapped Customer Data Potential in CRM Systems 

LEAV Aviation offers ACMI, charter, and scheduled flights on international routes. They store customer data in GO7 (formerly AeroCRS), a specialized CRM system for the aviation industry. For managing customer relationships and campaigns, the company uses HubSpot Marketing Hub Starter and Sales Hub Enterprise. 

The Problem: 

  • Valuable data from GO7 was not yet available in LEAV Aviation's HubSpot CRM, leaving numerous opportunities untapped. 
  • Additionally, the airline lacked the necessary HubSpot expertise to model and optimize their processes on the platform.

The limitations in utilizing customer data and HubSpot presented several challenges for LEAV Aviation: 

  • Uncoordinated Marketing and Sales: Without a unified database, marketing and sales activities were not optimally aligned, complicating customer retention and acquisition. 
  • Labor-Intensive Manual Data Management: Transferring customer data was done manually, which was time-consuming and prone to errors.

Integration with Apache NiFi Ensures Smooth Data Transfer 

For the integration of customer data from GO7 into HubSpot, we utilized Apache NiFi as middleware. This solution ensures smooth real-time data transfer, creating a comprehensive customer database in HubSpot. Thanks to Apache NiFi's flexibility, LEAV Aviation can easily integrate additional data sources in the future, making the solution scalable and future-proof.

The Solution 

Comprehensive Use of HubSpot Enhances Customer Relationship Management and Marketing Campaigns 

For optimal support of marketing, sales, and service processes, we tailored HubSpot according to the client's needs: 

  • Precise Customer Segmentation: The extensive and up-to-date data from GO7 allowed us to create initial customer segments based on demographics, behaviors, and preferences. LEAV Aviation can now supply these segments with personalized information, maximizing success of any campaign. 
  • Automated Marketing Campaigns: We also designed email templates and set up workflows for LEAV Aviation to send newsletters to its target groups automatically. Not  only does it increase campaign efficiency, but also ensures that potential customers are updated accordingly. 
  • Special Feature – Automated Contract Creation: We enabled LEAV Aviation to assemble contracts in HubSpot with just a few clicks. We created appropriate contract templates and ensured the transfer of relevant customer information from Outlook. Automated contract creation saves a significant amount of time for the sales team  and reduces errors associated with manual processes. 
  • Improved Lead Management: We established a comprehensive sales pipeline, allowing LEAV Aviation to efficiently guide leads from initial contact to closure. This pipeline provides a clear overview of each lead's progress and prioritizes the most critical sales opportunities. Follow-ups, reminders, and sales actions are partially automated, increasing the likelihood of a successful deal closing.
  • Automated Service Emails: Our team set up workflows for customers to receive reminders about seat reservations, check-ins, and other to-dos at regular intervals. After the flight, they receive a customer satisfaction survey to further optimize service processes. This keeps passengers well-informed, contributing to their satisfaction and loyalty.
